From the parking lot, head south from Sideouts and you will see a pasture with actual 'Hairy Cows!' Snap a Photo if you can! (Safely) Then, get back on route to ride along the plains of Illinois with these great STOPS and enjoy scenic views of the Fox and Rock River Valley. There's a whole lot of farms on this ride. Check out Kegel's Harley Davidson for some new gear or even a new ride! Be aware of construction this season, please ride with caution. Once you hit Route '2' then the you'll know exactly why Phoenix chose this route. Along Route '2' is a winding road along the Rock River with beautiful sites worth stopping to take some photos. There's a couple parks to choose from to stop and stretch your legs and take in the views. End up at one of our TOP PICS, and favorite Illinois Brewery, you guessed it, Hairy Cow Brewing Company. Enjoy a flight of beer on their patio which overlooks the Rock River and is one of the best ways to wrap up a day before heading back. Please enjoy their delicious brews responsibly!
