"Honest Abe's" story is one to be told for the ages. Illinois has done an amazing job preserving this history through bronze plaques of his speeches and statues representing significant moments from his life throughout the tomb.

Located in Oak Ridge Cemetery, the Lincoln Tomb is the final resting place of President Abraham Lincoln and his family. This National Historic Landmark features a 117-foot granite obelisk, bronze statues, and a richly adorned interior with marble and bronze statues. Visitors are allowed to enter the tomb daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free admission and accessible facilities. A perfect stop for riders seeking a blend of history, architecture, and scenic views.
